What to do with your Rogue One

As you probably already know, Star Wars: Rogue One came out on DVD this Tuesday. I got my copy, did you?

I’ve already watched it once since I bought it and plan on watching it this weekend with my youngest who is a huge Star Wars fan.

In the movie, when they are preparing to take off from Yavin 4 and head off to try and steal the Death Star plans, they identify their ship as Rogue, Rogue One.

I looked up the meaning for Rogue and found it to mean “a dishonest or unprincipled person or an animal living apart from the herd and having savage or destructive tendencies.”

What’s Rogue In Our Life?

I was thinking about the meaning of rogue in the context of the movie. In his speech to Jyn, Captain Cassian recounts that the people on the ship had done some unprincipled things in their lives.

Then thought about how there are some areas in my life, and the life of my family, that are somewhat destructive. They, like a rogue animal not living in peace with the herd (rest of my life)

Making A Difference

In hopes of redeeming themselves and saving the galaxy, Jyn, Cassian, and the rest take on a nearly impossible mission. For those that have seen the film know the price they paid is extremely high.

But they were able to get the Death Star plans which would be used to destroy the Death Star in A New Hope.

What price are we willing to pay to change our lives and bring that rogue area(s) of our lives back into the fold?

Well, a free way to start that process is happening April 6- April 9, 2017.

About the Training

Mark Timm and his wife Ann will be leading the LIVE event. He is the Ziglar Family CEO.

Almost 30 years ago, Mark first heard Zig Ziglar speak. Like most that have listened to Zig or read his book, Mark’s life was greatly impacted.

When Mark’s business success didn’t transfer to his family life, Mark and Ann knew they needed to make some changes.

Something had gone rogue and needed to be addressed and fixed, so they got intentional about applying Zig’s time-tested principles to leading and growing a successful family.

On the Thrive Live event, Mark and Ann will be sharing how they applied the Ziglar principles to their family redeem those rogue areas and find balance and a clear direction.
