I hope you have seen The Force Awakens by now. I’m putting together my list of 8 quotes to use in my next Bible study book and would love to hear yours.

My favorite line was from Maz Kanata as she exhorts people to act. In response to being asked, “What fight?”, she says, “The only fight: against the dark side.” Star Wars reminds me that there is a battle between good and evil, and the fight is primarily against evil itself, not necessarily the person currently caught in its grasp. Maz continues: “Through the ages, I’ve seen evil take many forms. The Sith. The Empire. Today, it is the First Order. Their shadow is spreading across the galaxy. We must face them. Fight them. All of us.”
Thanks Andrew. I like that quote as well, especially how evil has taken many forms throughout history. It’s try in that galaxy and in ours.
