In Season One: Episode One, "The Mandalorian," Din Djarin (Mando) travels to Arvala-7.
He has a run-in with two blurrgs (two-legged non-sentient reptilian species used as beasts of burden).
Mando is saved from the blurrgs by an Ugnaught named Kuiil.
After saving Mando's life, Kuill asks if Mando is a bounty hunter. Mando confirms that he is, and Kuill replies that he will help.
Kuill follows up his offer to help with a simple, "I have spoken."
He then proceeds to actually help.
Can people trust us to do what we say when we make a statement?
Do we keep our promises to do things at work? At home? With our kids?
Jesus was very blunt in Matthew 5:37, "Let what you say be simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything more than this comes from evil."
Will we be like Kuill, who helped someone in need?
The Apostle John, in 1 John 3:17-18, tells us, "But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth."
All we possess is a gift from God.
We will never be lacking if we faithfully use what He gave us to minister.
God is a good, good Father. He will provide for us.
Who knows? We may be the answer to the needy person's prayer.
