I came across this great quote.
I thought that it describes what a Jedi and Christian should be.
Strive to be a warrior and a scholar.
Be forged in fire and tempered by knowledge.
If not, you will lack the courage to fight for your ideals or lack the ideals worth fighting for.
Being a warrior is more than just physical fighting. According to Dictionary.com, it also can mean a person who shows or has shown great vigor,courage, or aggressiveness.
Being a scholar means to be a learned. In Matthew 28:19-20 we are given the Great Commission. We are told that as we are going “make
When something is forged, it is made strong, firm. To be tempered by knowledge would lead some one to be loving and tactful. This part of the quote reminded me of 1 Corinthians 16: 13-14(ESV), Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
The final phrase saddens me since I see so many Christians that lack courage or knowledge to defend their beliefs. They rely on too many “church” answers.
We need to train and study.
