As long as it does, hope lives in the galaxy!

In TLJ, Snoke and Kylo are in Snoke’s throne room. Kylo is on the receiving end of a significant tongue-lashing.

Snoke is beyond angry with him and screams that Kylo Ren has failed.

Kylo leaps to his feet in anger only to be hit with Force lightning and thrown to the ground by it.

As Kylo flails on the floor, Snoke yells, “Skywalker lives. The seed of the Jedi Order lives. As long as it does, hope lives in the galaxy!”

Without giving Luke too much credit, he bears a faint resemblance to Jesus. Just as Luke was the hope for the galaxy, Jesus is the hope for our world.

Just like the Jedi Order’s seed continues, so do believers in Jesus Christ to this day.

The Star Wars galaxy has been in turmoil for generations. Our world has been in turmoil since the Garden of Eden.

Our world knows that things are not as they should be.

Unfortunately, most do not realize what is needed to restore hope and to restore the world to perfection, so they live with broken hearts, just as Proverbs 13:12 tells us, “hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.”

We, as spiritual descendants of those in the faith before us, and as co-heirs with Christ, see Romans 8:16-17, know that according to 2 Corinthians 5:19-20, “in Christ God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

We are the ones that need to keep the hope that we have in Christ shining for others to see and for others to believe in.
