In A New Hope, as Obi-Wan describes the Force to Luke, he says, “It’s an energy field created by all living things.”
If this is true, the Force is a created entity. God, however, is eternal. He is the Creator of all.
Scripture shows that God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have existed before space, time, energy, or matter.
God created all things at the beginning of time. We see this in the creation account in Genesis chapters 1 and 2.
When God created the heavens and the earth in Genesis 1:1, He created space, time, energy, and matter.
The Lord, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are not created but the Creator.
The Holy Spirit was at creation, as Genesis 1:2b states, “the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”
In Colossians 1:16-18, when Paul spoke about Jesus, “by Him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.”
In Genesis 1:26, we read how God said, “Let us make man in Our image, after Our likeness.”
We know that God does not contradict Himself.
He alone is the Lord. He clearly states that in Isaiah 45:5-6 when He proclaims, “I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides Me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know Me, that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides Me; I am the Lord, and there is no other.”
How can we worship a created thing when we can know and worship the Creator of all?
