He tends to say whatever comes into his circuits

For those with a snarky sense of humor and a quick wit, K2-SO was a welcomed addition to the cast of Rogue One.

He was not one to sugarcoat what he said.

When Cassian asks Jyn if she has met K-2, Jyn’s response drips with sarcasm as she replies, “Charming.”

Cassian replies, “He [K-2] tends to say whatever comes into his circuits. It’s a byproduct of the reprogram.”

When K-2 was created and programmed, he had the operating system that the Imperials installed.

Most of K-2’s pre-Rebellion actions and decisions were relatively benign, even though he was unknowingly helping to further the interests of the Imperials. When he was put into a situation where he would have to pick a side, his actions and decisions were made to help the Imperials.

We, like K-2, have a program we follow, consciously or not. We follow what the world would have us do.

We require a program update, as Romans 12:2 tells us.

We need to change how we think and act. We need to become more like Christ. But it is more than just our thoughts and actions.

We need to become a new creation. We can if we are in Christ. See 2 Corinthians 5:17.

When Christ died, He died to sin once and for all, but because of the Resurrection, the life He lives, He lives to God (Romans 6:10).

To get this God-given upgrade, we need to admit we have sinned (Romans 3:23), believe in Jesus Christ (John 3:16), and confess Christ publicly (Romans 10:9).
